Work you can actually keep.
The Work Bridge helps people across Peel Region find real jobs — and stay in them. We're with you before the hire, during the hire, and after.

HOW WE HELP

Real Conversations
We focus on your goals and barriers—no generic forms or large workshops.

Active Support
We handle the resumes and applications, then call employers directly to advocate for you.

Retention Support
Most challenges arise months after starting. We stay connected to ensure you keep your position.
How we work together

Step 1: Getting to know us
The Work Bridge is a local employment support service, contracted by Employment Ontario. We work with people who experience disability-related barriers to work — including disabilities that may not be visible. There’s no cost to you for these services.
Step 2: Finding a fit
Our team collaborates with local companies to identify opportunities aligned with your skills. While we work diligently to find supportive environments where you can thrive, we focus on facilitating the right match rather than guaranteeing a specific vacancy. Together, we seek a work setting that benefits both you and the employer.
Step 3: Staying on the job
Starting a new job can be tough. We don't just leave you there; we keep in touch to help you handle any problems that come up at work. We are here to support you in keeping your employment steady and manageable for the long run.
About The Work Bridge
Completely free
We offer government-funded employment support. There are no fees for job seekers or employers for these specific services.
OUR PARTNERSHIP
We bring together local residents and local businesses to create steady, lasting jobs that make our whole community stronger.
OUR MISSION
We believe in being honest and reliable. Our goal is to see you succeed in a workplace where you feel respected and valued.
